A baby registry you share with one link

Wishivo is an online baby registry in English, French and Dutch, for families in Belgium and France. Parents add gifts from any shop, services or ideas, then share a single link; family and friends reserve without creating an account, and a reserved gift shows as “Already taken” for everyone else. Parents don’t see who gave what, unless they choose to and the guest agrees.

Get an email when we open

Wishivo opens very soon. Leave your email address and we’ll write to you once, on opening day.

Before you confirm, your address is used only to send you the confirmation email; it is added to the list only afterwards. We then store your email address, language, confirmation date and consent version, with our email provider Resend, until the opening email and at most 12 months after confirmation. How it works

  1. Step 1: Create your baby registry

Add what would really help: an object, a service, an outing. The shop link, the price and even the date are optional: the list can wait for the baby to arrive.

  2. Step 2: Share the link

Send it by message or e-mail, or add it to the birth announcement. Family and friends open it on their phone, with nothing to install.

  3. Step 3: Your guests reserve

Each person picks a gift and gives their name and e-mail. The gift becomes “Already taken” for the others, even if two people click at the same moment.

What matters for a new baby

  • Twins and siblings

Add several children and say who each gift is for. A first name, a nickname or “Baby 1” is enough.

  • Birth or adoption

For an adoption or a foster placement, choose the “Arrival or adoption” occasion. The list works the same way, and the date stays optional.

  • Easy for grandparents

No account, no app: they open the link, tap “Reserve” and get a confirmation by e-mail, with a link to cancel if they made a mistake.

  • One family, several languages

The list page appears in English, French or Dutch, based on each guest’s phone language, and they can switch at any time. Gift names stay exactly as you write them.

  • Several of the same

Six bodysuits, two fitted sheets: set the quantity. Guests see how many are left, for example “1 still available out of 2”.

  • Your child’s data

We don’t ask for your child’s date of birth, gender or photo. A first name is enough, and it is optional. For the cover photo, an object or a landscape works just as well.

Baby registry ideas

A few ideas to get you started. Keep the ones that suit you, with a link to any shop or no link at all. For each gift, you can also say that second-hand is fine.

For the first months

  • A pram or a baby carrier
  • A cot or a crib, with two fitted sheets
  • A baby sleeping bag
  • Cotton bodysuits, size 3 months and up
  • A play mat
  • A foldable baby bath

Help that really helps

  • A meal delivered in the first week
  • An hour of babysitting
  • An afternoon out with the older children
  • A cleaning or ironing session
  • Groceries left at the door

For later

  • Picture books
  • A toy for 6 months and up
  • A high chair
  • Clothes in size 12 months
  • A toy library membership
  • A show for toddlers

Baby registry questions

What is an online baby registry?

It’s a list of gifts that parents would like for a new baby, shared through a link. Family and friends pick a gift and reserve it, so no one buys the same thing twice. On Wishivo, the list can include gifts from any shop, services and ideas.

Can I make a baby registry with gifts from several shops?

Yes. Paste the link to the product page, from any shop, or leave the link out. Guests buy wherever they like, or choose “I will buy it myself in a shop”.

Is there a baby registry in English for international families in Belgium?

Yes. Wishivo works in English, French and Dutch. Create one list and share one link: each guest sees the page in English, French or Dutch, based on their phone language, and can switch at the top of the page. Gift names stay as you write them, so you can write them in two languages, for example “Blanket / Couverture”.

How do I avoid duplicate gifts on a baby registry?

As soon as a guest reserves a gift, it shows as “Already taken” for everyone else. If two people reserve the same gift at the same moment, only one reservation goes through; the other person is told straight away and can pick something else.

Do the parents see who gave which gift?

Not by default: they see that a gift is taken, never by whom. To say thank you, they can choose to see names after the event date, or straight away; only guests who agree appear.

Do grandparents need an account to reserve a gift?

No. They open the link, tap “Reserve” and give their name and e-mail. They get a confirmation by e-mail, with a link to cancel if they made a mistake.
